Julie LaBruna is the creative force behind Sunny Interior Design. Known for creating elevated interiors that are crafted around her clients lifestyles, her approach is truly where sophistication meets sanctuary.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Julie studied accounting and led a large team of financial professionals as SVP of Finance. Her strong project management skills and business acumen instill confidence in her clients, ensuring that projects are executed smoothly and efficiently.
Since relocating to West Palm Beach, Florida, Julie has engaged in numerous design projects before establishing her own boutique design studio. She dedicated several years as the Design & Auction Chair for the RDK Melanoma Foundation, where events were hosted at the prestigious Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach.
Julie's work has received acclaim in numerous publications, such as Houzz, Canvas Rebel and Stroll Magazines. Notably, she was featured in a national product magazine as one of The Best Projects of 2025. In the same year, she was honored as the National Designer of the Year by the Interior Design Society, and most recently, Florida Design Magazine recognized her as a 2026 Finalist in their esteemed Seaglass Awards. She actively participates in the Interior Design Society (IDS) and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).
